Doolally Pune Oktoberfest 2011 – with Blue Bulb Saturday, October 15

Every religion needs a festival. Ours is Oktoberfest!

Board the Beer Wagen (a fancy name for a bus full of people singing beer songs all the way) in Mumbai as we head to Doolally in Pune for the most holy madness ever.

Saturday 15th, October
2 pm – Pickups from various points in the city and head to the Doolally
4.00 pm: Barbecue with a mix of German cuisine and Indian Tandoor, and Happy Hour deals on beer – Pint: Rs 70, English Mug: Rs 100.
8.00 pm: Live rock music with 10 artists setting the stage on fire. Food and beer will be served ala carte – Pint Rs 160, English Mug Rs 227.
12:30 am: Board the Beer Wagen and head home, hopefully yours.

Sunday 16th, October
11:30 am – Pickups from various points in the city and head to Doolally
Noon: Brunch with German cuisine like Schnitzel, Pretzels – Rs. 350/- (Pint: Rs 70, English Mug: Rs 100)
4 pm: Happy Hours on beer continues
8 pm: Stand Up Comedy act, followed by live rock music (10 artists). Beer and food will be served ala carte. – Pint Rs 160, English Mug Rs 227
11:00 pm: Board the Beer Wagen and head home, someone’s’ home.
